How to use the USB Brushless Motor

This guide will help to understand how to set up the motor and the App.

Download the App:

Android Apk

What you need:

  • Android Smartphone
  • USB-C Cable and power adapter

Powering the motor

The motor is powered via a USB Cable. The advantage of using USB-C is that it can supply Voltages from 5-20V. Our integrated voltage regulator will match the input voltage of the USB and match it to the motor. The motor works with 5-20V as input voltage, although we advise to use at least 12V for better efficiency.

Setting up the App

  1. Scan to see all available motors. Each motor has an individual address. The RSSI value indicates the distance to the motor. If you have multiple motors, a lower RSSI value indicates a motor closer to the Smartphone.
  2. Click on the motor you wish to connect.
  3. In the main menu, you can start and stop the motor, set direction and RPM. I will also show you the RPM or if it is running or stopped.

How to set Up custom profiles

The custom profiles will also run while the phone is not connected to the motor.

You can also set up custom profiles while you are not connected to the motor. Go to OFF-Line to set up a profile that you can run when you connect to the motor.
